How to Apply for Community Grants

For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2019, Komen Tidewater is investing more than $138,000 million in 6 local community programs. The Affiliate funds non-duplicative, community-based breast health education and breast cancer screening, diagnostics, treatment support and patient navigation projects for the medically undeserved in Tidewater. In addition to funding local outreach projects, Susan G. Komen® runs one of the most innovative, responsive grant programs in breast cancer today.
Training is required. Applications will be accepted for breast health or breast cancer screening, treatment support, education, patient navigation or support projects in Komen Tidewater starting in late fall 2018 after attending mandatory grant writing training for the fiscal year April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020.
