How to Apply for Community Grants

The promise of Susan G. Komen® is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures. For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2019, Komen Tidewater is investing more than $138,000 million in 11 local community programs. The Affiliate funds non-duplicative, community-based breast health education and breast cancer screening, diagnostic, and treatment projects for the medically undeserved in Tidewater. In addition to funding local outreach projects, Susan G. Komen® runs one of the most innovative, responsive grant programs in breast cancer today.

Training is required. Applications will be accepted for breast health or breast cancer screening, treatment, education, or support project in Komen Tidewater starting in late fall.   for the fiscal year April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020. Projects that specifically address the objectives outlined in the “Funding Priorities” in the application will be given priority.
