Planning a Fundraising Activity?
We are honored to be contacted by passionate members of our community wanting to organize an event or promotion benefiting breast cancer awareness and research. Susan G. Komen Tidewater partners with others because it benefits both parties in terms of public awareness.
We want to make this process as simple as possible. In order to give each event and/or promotion request the attention needed, we ask you to complete the Event Application or email us firstname.lastname@example.org It is working together with our community that allows us to continue to provide funding for the much needed breast cancer support in the Tidewater service area. Our Affiliate has put over $5.5 million dollars back into our community in the last 14 years. We have the greatest impact when we work together.
Additional ways to support Komen:
Option 1: You may want to consider not using the Komen name/logo and instead making a general statement that the funds raised will go to a local breast health organization or breast cancer research and support. We would be honored to receive funds raised and would give public recognition for your donation. The Tidewater Affiliate is available to discuss your event and support as appropriate.
Option 2: Rally for the Cure® has expanded their well-established golf program to other events. You can now plan a Rally for the Cure® program for sporting events like golf and tennis, dinner events such as wine-tasting or group/club activities such as a bridge or book clubs. Learn how you can become a Rally Ambassador.
Option 3: Donate your car, truck, or recreational vehicle to Susan G. Komen Tidewater, you’re helping to save lives in Tidewater Region. Your donation provides funding for research aimed at finding new ways to detect, treat and prevent breast cancer, and for services that ensure everybody in Tidewater has access to quality care when they need it. Komen Tidewater accepts cars, trucks, boats, motorcycles, RVs, and other types of vehicle donations. Donate your car to Komen Tidewater today.
